Kenneth J. Karcher, 82, of Sycamore passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his residence.
Kenneth was born on March 20, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Richard and Anna Theresea Duy Karcher. He was a Lutheran. Kenneth was a member of the HAM radio club in Turner County and worked with 101.5 FM radio station. He also served his country with honor in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his brother, Richard Karcher of Kansas; twin sister, Kathy Horner of Kansas; brothers-in-law, Charles (Susan) Lumsden of Sycamore and William (Helen) Lumsden of Dallas; sister-in-law, Jewell (Lamar) Lumpkin of Valdosta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Phene Lumsden Karcher.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Bethel Cemetery.
