Terry Lavender, 74, of Conyers passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Emory St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta.
Terry was born in Sylvester on May 4, 1946 to the late Joseph Enoch and Eunie Mae White Lavender. He was a member of Heritage Hill Baptist Church in Conyers. He was also the retired owner and operator of Terry's Pest Control.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Hall Lavender of Conyers; step-daughter, Shannon (Bob) Tankesley of Canton brother, Paul Lavender of Sylvester; sisters, Clovis Collier of Seattle, Washington, Emma Mae Dupree of Sylvester, Dorothy Dupree of Sylvester, Glenda (Brennis) Verhine of Tallahasse, Florida, Betty June Alford of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren, McKinna, Kathryn, Robert, Ava and Leah all of Canton; step-grandchild, Lauren Greco of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gladys Dease, Lloyd E. Lavender, Vernard Lavender and Margaret Tribulak.
Funeral services will be private. For those who wish to pay their respects and sign the family's guest register, you may do so on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel.
