Lillian Ophelia Bryant Youngblood went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. A private family funeral service will be held at Harmony Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.E. “Bobby” Youngblood, her daughter, Lisa Youngblood Johnson, two brothers Harvey “Buddy” Bryant and Mark Bryant and a sister Voncile Quinette Bryant Taylor.
Born June 25, 1937 in Worth County, Lillian was the daughter of Frank and Alice Brooks Bryant. She graduated from Sumner High School in 1955. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and served on the Special Activities Committee. She served as Secretary/Treasurer and a Board of Director for the Georgia Limousin Association. She supported her husband and the family was named Farm Family of the Year in 1981 and in 2010 was honored in the Georgia Centennial Farm Program. She also enjoyed cooking, baking cakes and working in her yard.
She is survived by Lori Youngblood of Buford and Lynn (Jerry) Davis of Ashburn; sister Lavonia “Punk” Wimberly of Moultrie, a brother Wyman Bryant of Tifton, a sister in law Jessie C. Youngblood of Ashburn, and grandchildren, Lacy (Zac) West, Robert “Robby” Stephens and Jay Davis.
While there will be no formal visitation family and friends may sign the family guest register on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 1-4pm at Perry Funeral Chapel. While flowers will be accepted, for those who wish please make memorial donations to Harmony Baptist Church.
