Willene Wiley Lumpkin, 88, of Sycamore passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at her daughter’s residence in Tifton.
Willene was born on July 24, 1933 in Worth County to the late Roy and Odessa Watson. She was a committed Christian woman who loved her family. Her church family was also very special to her. Willene loved the Atlanta Braves and was particularly fond of Freddie Freeman.
She is survived by her son, Franklin Wiley of Sycamore and daughter, Belinda(Eddie) Dill of Tifton; 2 grandchildren, Brannon (Nikki) Fountain of Warner Robins and Charla (Patrick) Futrill of Chula; and 5 great granddaughters, Kayleigh, Alyssa, Lyla, Madeline, and Callie.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Charles Wiley, her second husband, Buford Lumpkin, and siblings, Christine Brown and R.C. Watson.
A funeral will be held Monday, September 6 at 11 AM at Sycamore Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
