William Jimmy Tucker, Sr., 82, of Hawkinsville passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his residence.
William was born on February 2, 1939 in Irwinville to the late Jess Daniel and Annie Velma Dukes Tucker. He retired from Wanee Lake Country Club in Ashburn. He loved to fish and enjoyed working. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. William was also a member of Independent Faith Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Huett of Hawkinsville and Loretta Lynn (Abiel Diaz) of Hawkinsville; sons, William J. Tucker, Jr. of Hawkinsville, Howard Daniel (Laura Eli) Tucker of Hawkinsville and Earl Ray (Elaine) Tucker of Hawkinsville; sisters, Faye (Wayne) Mencer of Warner Robins, Ruth (Bill) Roberts of Ashburn and Hazel (Ken) Summerall of Sycamore; brother, David (Carolyn) Tucker of Enigma He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorine Holt Tucker and several siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 20, 2021 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private.
