Ronnie Waldo Kicklighter, 75, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at his residence in Ashburn, GA surrounded by family.

Ronnie was born in Glennville, GA to the late Waldo E. and Erma Durrence Kicklighter. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Kicklighter, and daughter, Mandy Anderson. He retired as a Property Tax Appraiser for the Georgia Department of Revenue. He was also a statistician for Peach County High School Football for many years. Ronnie loved to go fishing and ride his tractor while restoring the family farm. He really enjoyed High School and College Football, especially watching the Georgia Bulldogs. In his free time, Ronnie also enjoyed playing golf. He attended Amboy Baptist Church. He never met a stranger and if there was a need he provided.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Kay Kicklighter of Ashburn; daughters, Robin (Michael) Grant of Gray and Jenny Hall of Ashburn; and grandchildren, Caleb Grant, Sydney Grant, Rebecca Mixon, and Matthew Anderson. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Melinda Kicklighter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, GA. The family will greet friends at 1PM until the service time. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, GA.
