Graveside funeral services for William Adam Cooper, age 75, of Milledgeville, Ga. will be held Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in Snowridge Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Cooper died Monday in University Hospital, Augusta following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Cooper was born in Turner County, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Grover Cooper, Sr. and Annie Lynn Ryals Cooper. He was a retire farmer and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had resided most of his life in Turner County, Ga. before moving to the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville, Ga. a few years ago.
Mr. Cooper is survived by a sister, Martha C. Britt, Fitzgerald, Ga. and a sister and brother in law, Betty Jane & Dane Stanford, Augusta, Ga.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Thursday at Snowridge Cemetery in Ashburn.
