Nadine Watkins Moore

Graveside funeral services for Nadine Watkins Moore, age 84, of 2985 Wardlow Road, Ashburn, Ga. will be held Friday, May 19, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Moore died Wednesday at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Moore was born in Bartow, Florida and was the daughter of the late Loving Pierce & Ella Mae Watkins. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was raised in Lakeland, Florida and lived in the Tampa area from 1941-1987 before moving to Ashburn. She attended St. Augustine School for the Blind & Deaf where she met her husband of 51 years, John Henry Moore who died in 1996.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her son, Henry L. Moore, Tampa, Florida & Ashburn, Ga. and two daughters, Margaret Falvey, Ashburn, and Ida Marie Shaw, Crosby, Tenn. Also surviving are three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 P.M., Friday at Perry Funeral Chapel.
