William R. "Bob" Hudson

Funeral services for William R. “Bob” Hudson, age 69 of 680 Cedar Drive, Ashburn will be held Thursday at 2:00 P. M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hudson died Tuesday August 1, 2006 after a sudden illness.

Mr. Hudson was a native of Madison County, Fla. the son of the late Robert Lee and Jessie Lee Floyd Hudson. He was a longtime resident of Ashburn, a former Ashburn City Councilman and former owner and operator of the Turner County Theater for many years. He was retired from Golden Peanut Co. and loved playing golf.

He is survived by his wife Montine Wiley Hudson, Ashburn, two daughters and their husbands, Karen & Matt Wynn, Sycamore, Ga. and Sandra & Randall Bryan, Leesburg, Ga. , two sisters Faye Saylor, Sycamore, Ga. and Rochelle Copeland, Fitzgerald, Ga. and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from Seven until Nine at Perry Funeral Chapel, 301 McLendon St., Ashburn, Ga.
