Opal B. Tucker

Funeral Services for Opal B. Tucker, age 85, of 124 C. M. Dove Road, Irwinville, Georgia will be held Friday at 11:00 A. M. at the Bethel Baptist Church, Sycamore, Ga. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Tucker died Tuesday at Irwin County Hospital on August 8, 2006.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Offie Franklin & Myrtie Lee Wisenhunt Baker Bolton and the widow of the late Joe Vernon Tucker who died in January, 2005. She was member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was a member and former Georgia State Officer of the U. D. C. She was a longtime resident of the Atlanta area before moving to Irwin County in 1985.

She is survived by her children Natacha T. Stephens, Lilburn, Ga. and Wayne Tucker, Slaughter, La., her brothers Harold Baker and Carroll Baker, Georgetown, S. C. and sister Virginia Raines, Ashburn, Ga. and Three Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from Six until Eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
