Edith Boedeker

Graveside funeral services for Edith Williams Boedeker, 84, of Plains, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 18, 2006 in the New Prospect Freewill Baptist Churchyard. Mrs. Boedeker passed away Thursday in Americus following an extended illness.

The daughter of the late Morgan and Maude Stallings Williams, she was born in Turner County. She was a former long time resident of Dawson, GA. and a member of the Dawson Methodist Church. She was a secretary for her husband’s business, Thunderhawk Manufacturing Co., in Dawson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband O. C. “Jack” Boedeker, and her brothers, Lamar Williams, Hinton Williams and Jere Lee Williams.

Survivors include her children, Jack Boedeker of Ashburn GA. and Kay B. Nicholson, Natural Bridge, FL., a brother, Carlton G. “Bud” Williams of Ashburn, GA. and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday evening at Perry Funeral Chapel from 7 until 8:30.
