Roger Howard

Funeral services for Roger Howard, 62, of 200 Perry Drive, Ashburn, Ga. will be held Sunday, December 10, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Howard died Friday at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Howard was born in Turner County, Georgia and was the son of the late Addis P. and Minnie Lee Pate Howard. He was a retired heating and air conditioning technician. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the United States Army in the 70th Armor Division. He was preceded in death by one brother, A. P. “Buck” Howard.

Mr. Howard is survived by two brothers, James Edward Howard, Irwinville, Ga. and Gerald Wayne Howard, Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by two sisters, Christine Avery and Louise Hickman both of Ashburn, Ga. and his Fiancé, Virginia Shoffeitt of Ashburn, Ga.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
