Jim Leatherwood

Funeral services for Mr. Jim Leatherwood of Rebecca, GA. will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Interment will be in the Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, GA. Mr. Leatherwood passed away Monday at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
He was 71 years old.

The son of the late John Abner and Gaylor McFarland Leatherwood, he was born in Gordon Co., GA. He was a retired electrician and a veteran having served in the US Army.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Leatherwood, Brian Parks, Greg Parks, Keith Parks, Mark Fernald, Wayne Goff, Roy Leatherwood, Jr., Jason Leatherwood, Charles H. Wideman, Billy Hawkins and Richard Allman.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny C. Leatherwood, Rebecca, GA., his children, son and daughter in law James and Angie Leatherwood, his daughters Leslie Leatherwood, Carmen Leatherwood all of Monroe, GA. His brothers, Jay Leatherwood, Ashburn, GA. and Roy Leatherwood, Dalton, GA. His granddaughter Chrystal Leatherwood, Rebecca, GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday night from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
