Barbara B. Phelps

Funeral Services for Barbara B. Phelps, age 66, of 2517 West County Line Road, Tifton, Georgia will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2007,at 2:00 P.M. at the Inaha Baptist Church in Turner County with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Phelps died Saturday at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital after and long illness.

Mrs. Phelps was a native of Tift County, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Wiley J., Busbin, Sr. and Omeda Morehead Busbin. She was a longtime Sunday School Teacher and member of the Inaha Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son David Jackson Phelps in l983.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Phelps, Tifton, Ga. one son Marty and his wife, Sheila Phelps, Cedartown, Ga., three brothers, Charles Busbin, Blue Ridge, Ga., Wiley J. Busbin, Jr., Douglasville, Ga. and Arthur Busbin, Stockbridge, Ga. and two sisters, June Sumner, Chula, Ga., and Billie Welch, Bonaire, Ga. and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday January 2, 2007 from 12:00 noon until time of the services at the Inaha Baptist Church.
