Martha Murphy

Graveside funeral services for Martha Murphy, age 53, Ashburn will be held Friday, February 9, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at the Liberty Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Murphy died Tuesday at Tift Regional Medical Center following extended illness

Mrs. Murphy was born in Hollywood, Ga. and had resided in Ashburn for the last 34 years. She was the daughter of the late Margaret Sharpton. She was a member of the House of Prayer in Ashburn.

She is survived by her husband, David Murphy, Ashburn, three sons, Davey Allen Murphy, Johnny Lee Murphy, and Dwayne Allen Murphy, and one daughter, Barbara Sue Fletcher, all of Ashburn .She is also survived by nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Dennis Allen Murphy.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
