Norma Eltringham Newman

Memorial services for Norma Elaine Eltringham Newman, age 83, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Newman died Sunday at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Newman was born in Wellsburg, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Samuel S. & Norma Hall Eltringham. She was a homemaker and the widow of James W. Hewman, Jr. who died in 1997. Mrs. Newman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlantic City, N.J. where she was a deacon.

Mrs. Newman is susrvived by one son, James W. Newmsn, III, of Ashburn; six grandaughters: Kelly Gardner, Ashburn, Ga., Tammy Clarke, Estele Manaor, N.J., Chrissy Cavileer, Egg Harbor City, N.J., Kimmy Newman, Miami, Fla., Sue Cook, Ashburn, and Brandi Newman, Ashburn, Ga. Mrs. Newman is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and one brother, Norman Eltringham, EAst Liverpool, Ohio.
