Sue Wilson

Graveside Funeral services for Sue Herrington Wilson, age 86, of Atlanta, Georgia will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 22, 2007 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Wilson died Monday in the Fountain View Nursing Home in Atlanta following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Crisp County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Ethel Shrowder Herrington. She owned and operated the Jack & Jill Nursery in Ashburn for over 30 years before retiring. She was a long time resident of Ashburn before moving to Abbeville, Ga. in 1985 and later moved to Atlanta in 1999. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was the widow of Hugh D. Wilson, Sr. who died in 1992.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by two sons, Hugh D. Wilson, Jr., Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi and Jamie (Diane) Wilson, Atlanta, Ga. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Kristen Wilson, Atlanta, Ga. and Sarah Wilson, New York, New York. She is also survived by two brothers, Marvin Herrington, Canton, Ga. and Ephraim Herrington of Macon, Ga.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30-1:30 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
