Mary Ella Giddens Craft

Funeral Services for Mary Ella Giddens Craft, age 67 of Ashburn will be held Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 4:30 P. M. in the New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Craft died Tuesday in Ashburn after a sudden illness.

Mrs. Craft was a native of Worth County, Georgia and the daughter of the late John T. & Maudie Lee Walls Ward & Eula Othell Howell Ward and was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Glenn Giddens and a son Gary Powell.

Survivors include her children Melvin Giddens of Ashburn and Sharon Giddens Ming and son in law Jamie Ming of Georgetown, Ga., two brothers Jerry Ward of Lenox and Terry Ward of Tifton, and six sisters Sue Tripp, Zelda Fender, Tina Tanner, Nell Handley, Melba Brown and Teresa Ward all of Ashburn.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Ward and a sister, Patsy Brooks.

Family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
