Jamie Black

Funeral services for Jamie Black, 35, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Black passed away Monday at his residence following a sudden illness.

Mr. Black was the son of James Leon and Peggy Jean Barry Black, Sr. and was born in Dougherty Co., GA. He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church and was a truck driver. He served in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid fan of The Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his children, Kelsi Black and Jackson Black and their mother, Kelli Y. Black; his parents, James L. and Peggy B. Black, Sr.; his sister, Sheri B. (Ernie) Smith; his grandmother, Laura Black, his nephews, Daniel, Andrew and Peter Smith all of Ashburn, GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
