LaRue Myers

Funeral Services for LaRue Willingham Myers, age 80, of 5430 Denham Road, Sycamore will be held Friday, June 15, 2007, at 11:00 A. M. at the Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Myers died Wednesday at Tift Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Myers was a native of Bacon County, Ga. to daughter of the late Clem G. and Sara Basheba Taylor Willingham and the widow of the late Aubrey Lee Myers. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and loved gardening. She had been a resident of Turner County since 1934. In addition to parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Frank Willingham, Mary Bell Sumner, Alice Purcell, C. G. Willingham, C. H. “Bud” Willingham, and Ruby Nell Willingham.

Survivors include two sons Ronnie Lee and June Myers, Sycamore and Randy and Penny Myers, Ashburn and five grandchildren Ryan, Brett, Rayford, Kayla and Marley Myers.

The family will receive friends Thursday night Six until Eight at the Perry Funeral Chapel.
