Albert Wright

Funeral services for Mr. Albert L. Wright, 92, of Ashburn, GA. will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Wright passed away Monday at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

The son of the late Isaiah J. and Edna Pauline Hathcock Wright, he was born in Turner Co. and was a retired farmer and electrician. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and was a long time resident of the Dakota Community. He served in the US Army during WW II. His hobby was reading and woodworking. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Larry A. Wright in 1986 and a son-in-law Y. T. Belflower in 2001.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Parr Wright, Ashburn, GA; his daughter Donna Belflower, Ashburn, GA.; a grandson Jason Belflower, Ashburn, GA; his sisters Minnie W. Wright, Duluth, GA, Lillie W. Scoggins, Ashburn, GA, and Rosa Lee W. Moore, Augusta, GA.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday morning from 9:30 until time of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
