Betty Hancock

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty M. Hancock, 77, of Ashburn, GA will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hancock passed away Friday, November 2, 2007, at Ashburn Health Care following a lengthy illness.

A native and life time resident of Turner Co., she was the daughter of the late Quillie Belle and Beulah Leona Shepherd McCard and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She was a secretary and office manager for Warren S. Hancock CPA. She was the widow of Warren S. Hancock. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James McCard. Her hobbies included reading, watching birds and fishing.

Survivors include her children, Bobby and Diane Hancock, Tifton, GA. and Robbie and George Copenhaver, Roswell, GA. A grandson Thomas Hancock, Brunswick, GA.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 till 8 at Perry Funeral Chapel.

Flowers will be accepted, however for those who wish in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bethel Baptist Church or United Hospice of Cordele.
