Funeral services for Myrtle Eidson Denham, age 94, of Sycamore will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Sycamore Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery. Mrs. Denham died Wednesday at the Arch bold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga. following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Denham was the daughter of the late Samuel A. & Dona Metcalf Eidson and the widow of the late James H. Denham. She was a member of the Sycamore Methodist Church, Keenage Club and Prime Timers. She was a former substitute school teacher and assistant librarian at Victoria Evans Memorial Library and was a volunteer at the library until she was 90 years of age. Her hobbies were genealogy, gardening, reading, collecting seashells and was an animal lover.

Survivors include her children Ralph H. “Bud” Denham, Sycamore, Ga.; Beulah D. & Roy Duke, Decatur, Ga.; Reba D. & Raymond Adams, Dearing, Ga.; and Doris D. & Buddy Bryan, Tifton, Ga. Also surviving are seven grandsons, Bryan Duke, Lance Swanson & his wife, Kimberly, Mitch Denham & his wife Carla, Ben Adams, James Adams; two great granddaughters, Kendall Ware and her husband Ben, & Donna Duke. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Haley, Anna & Abbie Denham, Graham & Hatcher Swanson, Avery & Blake Ware, Logan Moore; and two step-grandchildren, Michael More & his wife Stacy, and Ken Moore.

The family will receive friends from six until eight Friday evening at the funeral home.
