Chester Wilson

Funeral services for Mr. Chester Lee Wilson, 91 of Sycamore, GA. will be held at 2:30 Monday, December 31, 2007 at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Wilson passed away Saturday at Tift Regional Hospital.

Mr. Wilson was the son of the late Joseph Richard and Mary Elizabeth Mauldin Wilson and was born in Turner Co., GA. He spent his entire life in the Bethel Community. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church where he was a member of the Adult Sunday School class, Youth Leader, and also served as a deacon. Mr. Wilson was the widower of Ima Unez Pilkinton Wilson. He was an avid fisherman and a retired farmer. Mr. Chester and his wife, Miss Unez, were active supporters of youth sports and activities for many years.

Survivors include his daughters and son in laws, LaRue and Jimmy NeSmith; Juanita and Ricky Cleghorn and Cindy and Phil Gilley all of Sycamore, GA., Seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister Zelma Pearce of Sycamore, GA.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
