Kathryn Schwarz

Funeral services for Kathryn Howard Schwarz, 83, of Ashburn, GA. will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Schwarz passed away Wednesday following a short illness.

The daughter of the late Thomas Ira and Rose Catherine Pugh Howard she was born in Milner, GA. She moved back to Turner Co. to her childhood farm in 1973 after residing in Raleigh, NC. A homemaker, she was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was the widow of Richard A. Schwarz. Her hobbies include crossword puzzles, sewing, crocheting and sukodu puzzles.

She is survived by her brother Alvin L. Howard of San Antonia, Texas and twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by two brothers, Elmer Howard and Emerson “Sketter” Howard.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until the hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
