Norma W. Guess Wynn

Funeral services for Norma W. Guess Wynn, 73, of Ashburn will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Wynn died Sunday at Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany following a brief illness.

Mrs. Wynn was born in Turner County and had resided most of her life in Ashburn. She was the daughter of the late Samuel J. Williams, Sr. and Mamie Clark Williams. She was a homemaker and housewife and a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and chatting with her friends on the Internet from all over the world. Mrs. Wynn was an avid sports fan. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Henry Guess, in 1995.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Wynn, Ashburn, Ga.; her children, Gary (Theresa) Guess, Tifton, Ga., Russell (Kim) Guess, Sycamore, Ga. , James Lowell (Annette) Guess, Ashburn, Ga., Sherry Guess McMurrian, Olive Branch, Mississippi and Gina (Gary) Harris, Ashburn, Ga. She is also survived by two step daughters, Terry W. Gilmour, Fitzgerald, Ga. and Kathy W. Sikes, Hinesville, Ga. Also surviving are one brother, John Williams, Riverdale, Ga. and two sisters, Lucille Decker, Riverdale, Ga. and Frances Peters, Mableton, Ga.; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 P.M., Tuesday at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga.
