Ricky T. Pilkinton

Funeral services for Ricky T. Pilkinton, 51, of Morrow, Ga. will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Pilkinton died Tuesday in East Point, Georgia following a brief illness.

Mr. Pilkinton was born in Turner County, Ga., and was the son of the late Morris B. Pilkinton, Sr. and Tiny Wilson Pilkinton. He had resided in the Atlanta area for the last 30 years. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan. He was an employee of the W.C. Meredith Company where he was the Yard Supervisor.

Mr. Pilkinton is survived by his wife, Sue Jackson Pilkinton and one daughter, Heather Renee Pilkinton, both of Morrow, Ga. Also surviving are four brothers, J.N. Pilkinton of Sycamore, Ga., Buford Pilkinton, of Salem, S.C. M.B. Pilkinton, Jr. and Terry Pilkinton both of Sycamore, Ga. He is also survived by four sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Burke, of Dallas, Ga., Venetia Smith, of Leesburg, Ga., Ann Reeves, and Gloria Jean Cameron both of Sycamore, Ga.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
