Mildred Davison

Funeral services for Mildred D. Davison, 88, of Sycamore, Georgia, will be held Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Hickory Springs Cemetery in Tift County. Mrs. Davison died Tuesday at her residence following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Davison was born in Meridian, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Jasper & Ida Davis. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Her hobbies were sewing and reading and was the former Manager of the Honey Bear Restaurant in Ashburn. She was the widow of Willie H. “Shorty” Davison who died in 1962.

Mrs. Davison is survived by her children, Billy (Linda) Davison and Yvonne D. (Charles) Mayo all of Ashburn, Ga. Also surviving are five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Rena Fields, Ellisville, Mississippi.

The family will friends,Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
