Theril Lester Boutwell

Funeral Services for Theril Lester Boutwell, age 65, of 611 S. Main Street, Ashburn will be held Sunday, March 30, 2008, at 2:00 P. M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Boutwell died Friday at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Boutwell was a native of Dodge County, Georgia the son of the late Rev. Theril W. Boutwell and Thelma Orene Haskins Boutwell of Eastman. He was a retired Trooper with the Georgia State Patrol and President of Boutwell Brothers, Inc. He had been a resident of Ashburn since 1979 and was a member of the Popular Springs Baptist Church, Eastman, Ga. and had served in the Georgia National Guard.

He is survived by his wife Beth K. Boutwell, Ashburn and his children Theril Evan Boutwell, Elizabeth Marie Davis, both of Ashburn, June Davis (Richard) Benton, Fayetteville, N. C., Stacy (Danny) Boutwell Floyd, Brunswick, Ga. and Lynn (Scott) Boutwell Collura, Moultrie, Ga. and two brothers James Robert (Tina) Boutwell, Eastman, Ga and Jimmy Ray (Ginger) Boutwell, Tunnell Hill, Ga. and one sister Peggy Ann Anderson, Flat Rock, Ala., six Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister Jean Boutwell Kelly. Also surviving are two grand dogs.

Family will receive friends this evening March 29, 2008 at Perry Funeral Chapel from six until eight.
