A. F. "Buddy" Shivers

Graveside Funeral Services for A. F. “Buddy” Shivers, age 85 of Ashburn will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 11:00 A. M. at the Live Oak Cemetery in Turner County. Mr. Shivers died Sunday at Ashburn Health Care after a long illness.

Mr. Shivers was a native and lifelong resident of Turner County the son of the late A. F. Shivers, Sr. and Willie Catherine White Shivers and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Rebecca Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World and loved attending church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Wynelle Wilson Shivers and two brothers Carson Shivers and Billy Shivers.

Survivors are his two sons Ronnie (Frances) Shivers, Ashburn and Tim (Emily) Shivers, Bowling Green, Ky. and three grandchildren Amanda Shivers and Lauren Shivers, Bowling Green, Ky. and Nick Shivers, U S. Navy, Hawaii.

Family will receive friends Monday evening from Five until Seven at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga.
