Sadie C. White

Funeral services for Sadie C. White, 91, of Bainbridge, Ga. will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in Perry Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Shingler Cemetery in Worth County, Ga. Ms. White died Sunday in Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Ga. following a brief illness.

Ms. White was born in Turner County, Ga. and had resided in Bainbridge for the last 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Charlie & Stella Ann Brooks White. She was retired from Ginter Box Factory in Jacksonville, Fl. and from the Georgia Industries for the Blind in Bainbridge, Ga. In September 2002, she was named “Employee of the Month” at GIB at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jack White and her sister Beatrice Adair.

Ms. White is survived by her nephew, Charles Adair of Ashburn and her nieces, Faye Clark and Janice A. Nutt, both of Macon, Ga. She is also survived by a cousin, Peggy LeGrand, Jacksonville, Fl.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
