Ellen E. Cameron Roberts Luke

Funeral services for Ellen E. Cameron Roberts Luke, 100, of Sebring, Florida will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008, at 2:30 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sycamore, Ga. Mrs. Luke died Monday at her residence in Sebring following a short illness.

Mrs. Luke was born in Crisp County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late George W. & Gordy Dowdy Cameron. She was s retired tailor for the U.S. Navy and a member of the Church of Christ in Ashburn. She was the widow of James Gilbert Luke. She was preceded in death by one son, Willford Roberts. AC She was a long time resident of Ashburn, before moving to Sebring about 14 years ago.

Mrs. Luke is survived by one son, William “Bill” (Mary) Luke, Oakridge, Tenn, and one daughter, Amelia L. (Ronald) Horton, Sebring, Fl. She is also survived by a caring daughter in law, Ruth Roberts (Max) Walker, Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30-2:30 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
