Laura Elizabeth Lee Atkinson

Funeral services for Laura Elizabeth Lee Atkinson, 83, of Rebecca will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Atkinson died Sunday at her residence in Rebecca following a brief illness.

Ms. Atkinson was born in Lawrenceville, Ga. and was the daughter of the late John W. & Bennie Irene Atkinson. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rebecca, and was a long time resident of Atlanta before moving to Rebecca in 1985. She was retired from the Cunningham Printing Co. She loved baseball and fishing.

Ms. Atkinson is survived by one sister, Ruby Woodyard, of Rebecca, Ga. and two God-daughters, Sandra Woodyard, Lilburn, Ga. and Brandi Minshew, Rebecca, Ga.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
