Cora Lee Pate

Funeral services for Cora Lee R. Pate, 84 of Ashburn will be held Monday, October 6, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. at the Harmony Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Pate died Saturday at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Pate was born in Worth County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Elijah Daniel & Cora E. Gay Roberts. She was a homemaker and had resided in Turner County for many years. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church where she was a member of the Dorcus Sunday School Class. She was a member and Past President of the W.M.U. She was the widow of the late George Jefferson Pate. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Lydia Sue Faircloth and T. Pate Faircloth.

Mrs. Pate is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Sandra & Medford Kelley and Brenda Sue & Tim Faircloth all of Ashburn. She is also survived by two grandsons, Walt (Debbie) Kelley, Adel, Ga. and Wes (Rebecca) Kelley of Leesburg., Ga. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Caitlin & Laina Kelley, Adel and Madi Kelley of Leesburg.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
