Betty Joe Wilson

Graveside Funeral Services for Betty Joe Wilson, age 74, of Ashburn will be held Tuesday, October, 14, 2008, at 11:00 A. M. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Miss Wilson died Saturday after a brief illness.

Miss Wilson was a native and lifelong resident of Turner County the daughter of the late Wilbur U. and Oxie Covington Wilson. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include two nephews Ronnie & Frances Shivers, Ashburn, Ga. and Tim & Emily Shivers, Bowling Green, Ky. and a great nephew Nick Shivers, U. S. Navy, Hawaii and two great nieces Amanda & Lauren Shivers, Bowling Green, Ky.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Wynelle Shivers in 1974 and Juanita E. Wilson in 1930.

Family will receive friends Monday evening from Five until Seven at Perry Funeral Chapel, 301 McLendon St., Ashburn, Ga.
