Shawn Martinez

Funeral services for Shawn Ryan Martinez, 20, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, Ga. Mr. Martinez died Sunday in Tift County, Ga. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Martinez was born in Miami, Florida and had lived in Turner County since 2004. He was the son of Jose Nicaro Vega Martinez and Bonita Faye Fowler Fletcher. He was a salesman and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Sycamore and the Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, Florida.

Mr. Martinez is survived by one son, Jayden Shawn Martinez, Sycamore, Ga., his Mother, Bonita Faye Fowler Fletcher Delgado Elias, Sycamore, his Grandmother, Dorothy Wilson Fowler, Sycamore, Ga. Also surviving are his brother, Herman Lamar Fletcher, Jr., Tifton, Ga. and five sisters, Patricia L. Fletcher, Tifton, Ga., Audrey Lynn Rogers, Christina Nicole Delgado, Adrienne Rochelle Delgado, and Brittany Celeste Delgado, all of Sycamore, Ga.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
