Brenda Burgess

Graveside funeral services for Brenda (Lulu) A. Burgess, 62, of Ashburn, GA. will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 21, 2008 in the New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church cemetery in Turner Co. Mrs. Burgess passed away Sunday at Tift Regional Hospital following a brief illness.

A native of Irwin Co., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Elbert and Mildred Louise Jolley Arnold and had lived in Turner Co. most of her life. She was a housewife and homemaker and was a member of the New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, bird watching and spending time with her dog.

Survivors include her husband, Walter S. Burgess, Ashburn; her aunts, Fran Jolley, Ashburn, Faye Arnold, Sycamore, Grace Luke, Ringgold and Diane Raschke, Lakeland, FL. Her uncle, Warren Arnold, Sycamore and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
