Deborah Jean Sumner

Funeral services for Deborah Jean Sumner, 52, of Leesburg, Ga. will be held Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Sycamore, Ga. Mrs. Sumner died Thursday at Phoebe Putney Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Sumner was born in Worth County, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Gary Staines. She had lived in Leesburg for thirty-three years. She was a homemaker, a member of the Assembly of God faith and enjoyed playing with her dogs.

Mrs. Sumner is survived by her husband, Melvin “Skeet” Sumner and one son Curtis Feagin Sumner, both of Leesburg, Ga.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
