Thomas A. Cameron

Funeral services for Thomas A. Cameron, 63, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sycamore Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Ashburn, Ga. Mr. Cameron died Thursday in Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. following a brief illness.

Mr. Cameron was born in Turner County, Ga. and was the son of the late George Thomas and Mary Evelyn Hines Cameron. He was a self-employed fork lift mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former member of the Georgia National Guard. He was a 1964 Graduate of Turner County High School. He loved playing with his grandchildren and was an avid fisherman.

Mr. Cameron is survived by his wife, Orene Hutto Cameron, Sycamore, Ga.; son and daughter in law, Jeffery and Tammy Cameron, Sycamore, Ga.; daughter and son in law, Catrina and Robbie McKinney, Sycamore, Ga.; brother and sister in law, Billy Ray and Gloria Cameron, Sycamore, Ga. and his mother in law, Jannie Hutto, of Sycamore. Also surviving are his grandchildren Hunter Cameron, Kylee Cameron and James Carswell all of Sycamore, Ga.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
