Rosemary Reinhardt Bickley

Graveside funeral services for Rosemary Reinhardt Bickley, 86, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Nashville, TN will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 6, 2009 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia. Mrs. Bickley died Sunday, March 1, 2009 in Adams Place Assisted Living in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness.

Mrs. Bickley was born in Turner County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Millie Branch Reinhardt. Rosemary was a registered nurse by profession and finished her multi-faceted career at the VA Hospital in Nashville. In her leisure time she played piano, whistled, quilted, painted, played Scrabble, wrote poetry and was an avid recycler. The family thanks Dr. Matthew Perkins, Dr. Habib Doss, and Dr. John Zubkus and their staff and the Adams Place Assisted Living staff and community for their generous care and support to Rosemary and her family.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bickley. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Bickley, Knoxville, TN,; daughter and son in law Kitty and Bill Walker, Smyrna, TN, and daughter, Martha Bickley, Nashville, TN. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Josh, Greg, Casey and Tori Walker; sister, Janette Phelps, Tifton, Ga., brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Mary John Reinhardt, Tifton, Ga., William and Betsy Reinhardt, Sycamore, Ga. and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga.
