Valeria Cravey Smith

Funeral services for Valeria Cravey Smith, 87, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held Monday, May 18, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at the Inaha Baptist church with burial to follow in the Inaha Cemetery. Mrs. Smith died Saturday in Tift Health Care following an extended illness.

Mrs. Smith was born in Tift County, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Johnie Jackson & Leona Foster LeSeur Cravey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Bryant E. Smith, II, one daughter, Neila Lanier and brothers, Gerald Tyson Cravey and Johnie C. Cravey.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons and daughters-in -law, Van & Brenda Smith, Tifton, Ga., Ras & Caroline Smith, Sycamore, Ga., and one daughter and son-in-law, Diann & Jimmy Taylor, of Tifton, Ga. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, Ga.
