Helen Andrews

Funeral services for Helen Smith Andrews, 68, of Ashburn, GA. will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Ashburn First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery. Mrs. Andrews passed away Sunday at Tift Regional Hospital following a brief illness.

The daughter of the late James Hermon and Shirley Alberson Smith, she was born in Turner Co., GA. She attended the Ashburn First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Happy Sunday School Class. She was a retired nurse from Tift Regional Hospital. Mrs. Andrews was also a member of the American Nursing Association.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Andrews; a sister, Dorothy Hurd both of Ashburn. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday night from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
