Mary Ellie Spradley

Funeral Services for Mary Ellie Wright Spradley, age 87, of 1030 Stanford Road, Ashburn will be held Thursday at 2:30 P. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Spradley died August 25, 2009 at her residence after a long illness.

Mrs. Spradley was a native of Tift County, Georgia the daughter of the late Woodfin Henry Grady and Georgia Lessie Brown Wright. She was a retired seamstress and inspector with Manhattan Shirt Co. She was a member of the Baptist faith and had been a resident of Turner County for a long number of years.
She was preceded in death by husband Marvin Richard Spradley in 1996.

Survivors include her children Richard Jerome (Faye) Spradley, Tifton, Ga., Patsy (J.N.) Pilkinton, Sycamore, Ga., Lenda Spradley, Ashburn, Ga., Lavonne (Billy) Cooper, Sylvester, Ga. and Rhonda Sparks, Ashburn, Ga. and her sisters Ruby McCurdy, Irwin Co., Ga., Virginia Day, Irwinville, Ga., Helen Bledsoe, Rebecca, Ga. and a sister-in-law Virginia Wright, Fitzgerald, Ga. and 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from Six until Eight P. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
