James "Bo" E. Smith

Memorial services for Mr. James “Bo” E. Smith, 79, of Sumner, GA. will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 1, 2010, at The Church of God of Prophecy in Ashburn. Mr. Smith passed away Saturday at his residence following an extended illness. In keeping with his request Mr. Smith will be cremated.

A native of Omega, GA, he was the son of the late William Milton and Viola Louise Nashworthy Smith and had lived in Worth Co. for nineteen years. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Smith was a retired aircraft mechanic with the Dumont Aircraft Co in Avonpark, FL.

Survivors include his wife, Maryln Guy Smith, Sumner, GA; his children, David Michael Smith, Sumner, GA, Darrel Mitchell Smith, Sebring, FL, Dean Mark Smith and Darren Martin Smith both of Sylvester, GA; Shelia Joan McConniel and Sherri Lynn Haas both of Sebring, FL, thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a brother, Jacob Daniel Smith, Picayune, MS; a sister, Mary Ann Morris, Pearson, GA.
