Michael Thomas DiResta

Memorial services for Mr. Michael Thomas DiResta, 76, of Ashburn, GA will be held, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mr. DiResta passed away Friday in Turner Co., GA after an extended illness. Abiding by his wishes he was cremated. Interment of his ashes will be in Snowridge Cemetery in Turner Co., GA.

A native of Lawrence, Maine he was the son of the late Carmin and Candista Dandretta DiResta. He was retired from AT&T as a machinist. Mr. DiResta served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his special friends and caregivers, Runean Monroe, Ashburn, GA, Ronald Monroe, Ivey, GA, Belinda Watson, Arabi, GA and Anna Monroe, Ashburn, GA. His son, Andrew DiResta, Salem, MA, his daughters, Sheena Marcil, Weymouth, MA, Christine Russo, Malden, MA and Michelle Nargo, Reno, NV. Also surviving at his brothers, Thomas DiResta, Swampscott, MA and James DiResta; his sisters, Lucy Girardi, Methuen, MA and Anna DiResta.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 PM until the hour of service at Perry Funeral Chapel.
