Willie Clarence Fitzgerald

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Clarence Fitzgerald, 91, of Sycamore, GA. will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 19, 2010 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Interment will follow at the Pine City Cemetery in Wilcox Co., GA. Mr. Fitzgerald died Saturday following an extended illness.

Mr. Fitzgerald was born in Wilcox Co., GA to John Arthur and Addie A. Patterson Fitzgerald and was retired from the Warner Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of The Pitts Church of God and served in the US Army during WW II. He was a former resident of Pitts, GA before moving to Sycamore.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Johns Fitzgerald of Sycamore, GA; his daughter and son in law, Wynelle and Billy Lewis of Sycamore, GA; his grandchildren, Dwane & Kippy Lewis of Ashburn, GA; Danny & Jennifer Lewis of Chula, GA; his great grandchildren, Lacey and Olivia Lewis of Ashburn, GA and Christoper and Catherine Lewis of Chula, GA. Also survivoring is his brother Russell Fitzgerald of Pitts, GA and his sisters Kathryn Dennard of Rochelle, GA and Lucille Seader, Palm Beach, FL.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from four until six at Perry Funeral Chapel.
