Virginia Stephens Wilson

Funeral Services for Virginia Stephens Wilson, age 70, of 3709 Son Story Road, Ashburn will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 11:00 A. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Wilson died Wednesday at her residence after an illness.

Mrs. Wilson was a native of Turner County, Georgia the daughter of the late Earnest A. & Annie Sue Mackey Stephens. Mrs. Wilson was a former resident of Tifton for 18 years and Thomasville for 12 years and had lived in Albany and Cornelia, Ga. She was an Accountant and had served of Comptroller for Tift Regional Hospital, H. C. A. Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany & Columbus and Cornelia, Ga. She was preceded in death by one brother Al Stephens in 1983.

Survivors include her daughters Joy Salter, Apex, N. C. and Deanna Wilson Adkins & her husband Brian of Apex, N. C., her sister Ann Williford, Ashburn and her Five grandchildren, Jessie and Samuel Hughes, Samantha, Emily and Zoe Adkins.

The family will receive friends Friday from Five until Seven P. M. at the funeral home.
