Ruby Moore

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Posey Moore, 92, of Ashburn, GA will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Moore passed away Sunday at Heritage Health Care after an extended illness. Interment will follow in the Zion Hope Cemetery in Crisp Co., GA.

The daughter of the late Charles Dennis and Annie Lewis Posey she was born in Crisp Co., GA and had lived in Turner Co. since 1941. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. She was a member of The Oak Grove Baptist Church and was the widow of Charlie Ezell Moore, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Ann Riner, Cary L. (Sheryl) Moore, all of Ashburn, GA and Frank (Ira) Moore of Sylvester, GA. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Bob Brooke, Sycamore, GA, Casey M. Kennedy, Edmond, OK, David Brooke and Bryan Riner both of Tifton, GA. and Joe Moore, Sylvester, GA. Also she is survived by eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9:30 until the hour of services.
