Carolyn Kennedy

Funeral services for Carolyn Wise Kennedy, 70, of Ashburn will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Snowridge Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Kennedy died Thursday in an Albany Hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Ashburn, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Daniel Wendell Wise, Sr. and Margaret Imma Lockerman Wise. She was a retired seamstress from Duck Head Industries. She enjoyed fishing, reading, cooking and play “Free Sale” on the computer. She was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her husband, Tommy Kennedy, Ashburn, two sons, Steve Hulett and Larry Hulett, both of Danielsville, Ga. She is also survived by one daughter and her husband, Jeannie W. and Billy Watson, Sycamore, Ga. and her stepchildren Thomas D. Kennedy Jr., Kay K. Voght both of Denver Col. and Sherry Evans, Vienna, Ga. and one brother Danny Wise, Ashburn. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
