William Timothy "Tim" Pearce

Funeral services for William Timothy “Tim” Pearce, 54, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2:00 P. M. at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Pearce died Monday at Tift Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Mr. Pearce was born in Tift County, Gerogia and was the son of the late Thomas Carlton Pearce and Zelma Aurelia Wilson Pearce. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Tim was a farmer by profession, but it was also his passion. He loved everything about it, and shared it with all his friends and there were plenty of them.

Tim also loved his family: his wife Penny, his sons Will,of Ashburn, T.C. of Sycamore and step son Jake Fountain of Baton Rouge, La. He was devoted to his mother, Zelma of Sycamore. He was also close to his brother Jerry and sister in law, Franze, Aspen Colorado.

He loved to ride with Penny to look for deer, wild turkeys, and the occasional fox or bob-cat. They shared their enjoyment for gardening, and loved to watch hummingbirds in the summer.

Tim will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
